Overview

BamboBaneto promoted Baneto as a profile-based bot framework for Classic and Retail. Its older feature lists covered leveling, questing, grinding, gathering, fishing, battlegrounds and dungeons, with a separate unlocker required and some profiles charged on top. [1][2][8][9][3]

More about this product

A statement circulated on October 28, 2025 and reproduced by iXBT the next day said Baneto would immediately end development, support, sales and service after contact from Blizzard and Activision legal representatives. The shutdown remains reported because the original private announcement could not be independently authenticated. [8][9]

Surviving sales posts and directory listings describe the historical product without confirming current availability. No public evidence was found verifying Otenab or another named product as Baneto's successor. [3][8]

Community and support

Historical support came from BamboBaneto and the Baneto community, and was included in the reported shutdown. A current service remains unconfirmed.

Support details

The reported closure also ended the support previously provided by BamboBaneto and the community; current support could not be confirmed.

A buyer criticized delayed tickets and profile quality in July 2025. Bambo replied that he had declined a ticket while going to sleep, defended the profiles and said he lacked the money and knowledge to build his own unlocker. The exchange records a dispute, without enough information to measure support speed more generally. [5]

The announcement reproduced in October 2025 says support ended with the rest of the service. [8]

Update record

A post from October 2020 promised weekly updates, but the reviewed record did not pair outages with restoration times needed to measure recovery after individual game patches. [2]

Update log and evidence (4)

The original posts trace features added in 2020, later restrictions on new admissions and the reported 2025 shutdown. No release log for a current service was found.

The October 2020 promise of weekly updates gives no timing for recovery from individual patches, and comparable outage and fix times were unavailable. [2]

Ban reports and history

Baneto's public history includes an acknowledged dispute over reseller licenses, admission changes, July 2025 ban reports with competing explanations, and a reported legal shutdown.

About these reports

The reseller-license dispute, admission changes, July 2025 ban reports and reported legal shutdown are distinct parts of Baneto's history. The ban discussions offer competing explanations, leaving the technical cause unresolved.

The history draws on original posts from 2020-2025 and a reproduced closure announcement from October 2025. No forensic report establishing a technical detection was found.

Reseller key cancellation and refund dispute

Developer publicly disputes the cause of fast farming bans

High for statements; low for causation

Bambo claimed that NN users were being banned after about 24 hours and said bans had changed while pricing had stayed the same. Other participants disputed the generalization, suggesting bot behavior or navigation instead. [5]

Full report, cause and response

Affected scope: Baneto using NN and other Windows farming setups

  • Bambo described Baneto as using server-side encryption but supplied no technical evidence that it prevented bans.
  • The discussion does not establish that every NN user was flagged or every Windows bot shared a detection.

Participants offered competing explanations without demonstrating what the anti-cheat had detected.
