A statement circulated on October 28, 2025 and reproduced by iXBT the next day said Baneto would immediately end development, support, sales and service after contact from Blizzard and Activision legal representatives. Bambo replied that he had declined a ticket while going to sleep, defended the profiles and said he lacked the money and knowledge to build his own unlocker.
